ExtenderWorks (theextenderworks.net) is an independent publication of reference articles about wireless range extenders: what they do, where they belong and what their configuration exchange consists of. It is published by the operator named in the footer. It costs nothing to read and asks for no account.

It is not a manufacturer’s site, a retailer or a service of any kind, and it has no connection with any company whose equipment it describes. Product names appear only so that a reader knows which equipment is meant.

The articles describe how equipment of a given kind behaves in general. They are not instructions for any particular unit, and they are not a replacement for the documentation that came with one. Behaviour differs between makes, models and firmware versions, and where an article and a manufacturer’s documentation disagree, the documentation is to be preferred.

Care is taken with every claim and each article shows when it was last compared against its sources, but no article is warranted to be complete, current or applicable to a specific unit. A reader who acts on the articles does so in respect of their own equipment and at their own judgment.

The site provides no technical assistance by any channel. It has no telephone number, no chat window and no remote-session facility, and it never will. Nothing on the site is sold, no service is performed, and no charge is ever made in its name.

Articles link outward only to manufacturers’ own documentation and to public bodies that receive reports of fraud. Those sites belong to their operators, are governed by their own terms, and are not endorsed by being linked. A link is a citation, not a recommendation.

The text and diagrams on this site belong to the operator. Quoting a short passage with attribution and a link to the source article is welcome. Reproducing an article in whole or in substantial part, presenting the material as one’s own, or using it as the front of a service that the site itself does not offer, is not permitted.

Every product name and model designation remains the property of the company that owns it, and nothing in these terms grants any right in one.

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator accepts no liability for any loss arising from reliance on the articles, from the unavailability of the site, or from the content of any site linked to. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that the law does not permit to be excluded or limited, and nothing in them affects the rights a reader has as a consumer under the law of their own country.

The law of [COUNTRY], where the operator is established, applies to these terms, and any dispute about them belongs to the courts there. That does not deprive a reader of any protection or forum that the law of their own country grants and does not allow to be taken away.
